Ruth A. DurantZANESVILLE: Ruth A. Durant , 68 of Zanesville died at 12:54 PM Monday, August 22, 2016 at the Genesis Health Care Emergency Room following a courageous battle with cancer since July of 2015.She was born on February 3, 1948 in Zanesville the daughter of Frankie and Audrey McNutt Hopkins.Ruth was a member of Norval Park Church of Christ and retired from National City Bank/PNC. She is survived by her daughter, Lisa R. (Dave) Curby; a grandson, Cole M. Bryan; a granddaughter, Jennifer (Jacob) Curby-Borowski and a great grandson, Christopher Shriver; and numerous friends especially Edna "Mae" (Danny) Paskell, Kathy Ellis and her care giver Belinda Sowers. Ruth was preceded in death in addition to her parents by a brother, Terry Hopkins.Visitation will be held from 4 to 6 pm Thursday, August 25, 2016 at the Bryan & Hardwick Funeral Home where funeral service will be held at 11:00 AM Friday, August 26, 2016.
