Russell L. SmithROSEVILLE: Russell L. Smith, 85, of Roseville, passed away on Monday, June 1, 2015 at Genesis-Good Samaritan Emergency Room. He was born on May 26, 1930 in Newton Township. He was employed at Higgins Lumber from 1958-2006. He is survived by one daughter, Pam (Mike) Spring; one son, Jim (Carol) Smith; several grandchildren and great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, Harry and Clara Smith; his wife, Rose Ann Smith; six brothers, Donald, Jessie, Walter, Clayton, Leroy, and Vernon; seven sisters, Mabel Wentworth, Helen Denman, Violet Harris, Leona Manneely, Mossolene Yarger, Ethel Thomas, and Juanita Rogers. Friends may call from 5-8 p.m. Friday, June 5, 2015 at William Thompson & Son Funeral Home, 5765 Gladstone Drive, White Cottage where funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m. Saturday, June 6, 2015. Burial will be in St. Joseph's Cemetery in Crooksville.
