We are sad to announce the passing of Rudy Faison, who left this world on August 16, 2024, in Charleston, South Carolina. Born on November 20, 1952, Rudy was the beloved son of Renz and Carolyn Faison, and the loving partner of Deborah Thomas.

Rudy will be dearly missed by his two children, Barudy and Nakia, and their spouse Oliver Venning. He was also a cherished grandfather to four grandchildren.

Rudy attended Dunbar High School, graduating in 1970, before embarking on a successful career at Kaiser Construction, where he worked until his well-deserved retirement in 2013.

Known for his love of fishing, Rudy was always happiest when he had a line in the water and a cold drink in his hand. His stories of the big one that got away will be fondly remembered by all who knew him.

While we are saddened by his passing, we take solace in the memories of Rudy's laughter and love. Rest in peace, Rudy - may your next great catch be waiting for you in the great beyond.
