We are profoundly saddened by the passing of Rudy Lerma, who was born on April 20, 1953, and left us on June 19, 2025, in San Antonio, Texas, United States.

Rudy was born to Frank and Francis Lerma and was the beloved spouse of Anita Lerma, whom he married in 1973. Together, they were blessed with 8 children: Rudy Lerma Jr, Louis Lerma, Veronica Lerma, Sonia Mendoza (with spouse Corey Mendoza), Elizabeth Lerma, Lucinda Jardon, Kristie Lerma, and Francis Lerma (with spouse Moise Guerrero). He was also a proud grandfather to 10 grandchildren.

Rudy attended Stockdale High School and graduated in 1972. He went on to work as an Oil Field Worker and also served in the Navy. Rudy had a passion for fishing and was skilled at rebuilding cars.

His presence will be greatly missed by his family, friends, and all who had the pleasure of knowing him. Rudy Lerma leaves behind a legacy of love, hard work, and dedication. May he rest in peace.
