It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Ruby Gaston, who passed away on May 6, 2024, in Gaffney, South Carolina. She was born on May 5, 1969, to father Stan Ellis and mother Rubie Davis. Ruby was married to Anthony Gaston in 2015 and they had three children: Ronté Houey with spouse Jaleesa, Leteashia Houey with spouse Jonathan, and Terrail Ellis with spouse Macy. She is also survived by six beloved grandchildren.

Ruby attended Gaffney High School and graduated in 1987. She was a devoted wife, mother, and grandmother who enjoyed spending time with her family and grandchildren. Ruby's warm smile and kind heart will be deeply missed by all who knew her.

On May 6, 2024, Ruby passed away due to heart failure. Her memory will forever live on in the hearts of her loved ones.
