We are saddened to announce the passing of Ruby Harris, who brought joy and laughter to all who knew her. Ruby was born on August 15, 1945, in Vidalia, Georgia, to her mother Lilly Mae Grant.

Ruby married the love of her life, Marvin Austin Harris, in the year 1965. Together, they raised two wonderful children, Marcus and Marcel Harris. She was a devoted wife and mother who always put her family first.

Ruby was a proud graduate of Vidalia High School, class of 1963, and went on to further her education at Georgia Southern University, graduating in 1967. She had a passion for learning and was always eager to expand her knowledge.

Throughout her life, Ruby cherished her four grandchildren, who brought her endless joy and pride. She loved spending time with them and watching them grow.

On February 26, 2025, Ruby passed away peacefully from natural causes. While we mourn her loss, we also celebrate the vibrant and loving spirit she brought into this world. Her memory will always be cherished by those who were lucky enough to know her.

Rest in peace, Ruby Harris. You will be deeply missed.
