Roy Rogers, beloved husband, father, uncle and grandfather, passed away on April 1, 2024, in Richmond, Virginia, United States. He was born on December 1, 1947, to Franklin Rogers and Mary Motley.

In 1991, Roy married the love of his life, Wilma Rogers. Together they raised a son, Chris Rogers, who is survived by his spouse Brenda Rogers. Chris attended John Marshall High School, graduating in 1965.

Roy was known for his passion for fishing, spending countless hours out on the water pursuing his favorite hobby. He enjoyed the peace and serenity that fishing provided him, and it brought him great joy throughout his life.

Roy's passing was due to natural causes, but his memory will live on in the hearts of all who knew and loved him. He leaves behind a legacy of love and kindness that will never be forgotten.
