Roy Franklin WardMilan, TNMr. Roy Ward, age 71 of Jackson, passed away Thursday morning, October 20, 2016 at NHC Healthcare in Milan.He was born on November 9, 1944 in the Montezuma Community of Chester County, to the late James Franklin and Ruby Ellen Sanders Ward. He was homebuilder, building homes in Jackson, Indiana, and Michigan. He enjoyed riding horses and spending time with his family.In addition to his parents, Roy was preceded in death by his brother, Lloyd Ward.He is survived by two daughters, Deborah Thorsen (Jeff) and Kaylee Ward; four grandchildren, Brooke Crews, Cody Crews (April), Chase Thorsen, and Kadin Scott; two brothers, Kenneth Ward (Rose) and Emmett Ward; and two sisters, Linda Carter (T.C.) and Sandra Pafford.The family will receive friends on Friday evening, October 21, 2016 from 5-8 p.m. at George A. Smith and Sons South Chapel. Funeral services will be held on Saturday afternoon, October 22, 2016 at 2 p.m. at George A.
