With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of Roy Matthews on July 22, 2024, in Monroe, Louisiana. He was born on February 16, 1953, to proud parents Freddy and Sally Matthews.

Roy was a loving husband to Reba Matthews, whom he married in 22. Together they raised five wonderful children: Mekei, Markux, Roy Jr., Royce, and Ladonnouis. He also leaves behind three cherished grandchildren.

Roy attended Tallulah High School before embarking on a successful career as a mechanic. He retired in 3, leaving behind a legacy of hard work and dedication.

Outside of work, Roy enjoyed spending time with his family, cooking up delicious meals, and tinkering with cars. He will be remembered for his warm smile, kind heart, and unwavering love for his loved ones.

Although Roy may no longer be with us, his memory will live on in the hearts of all who knew and loved him. Rest in peace, Roy Matthews.
