Rosie Lee Garvin was born February 13th, 1924 in Pickens, MS.  She was 92 years of age when she passed away on August 28, 2016.

She attended Beauty School and became a licensed Beautician. She was a beloved foster parent for many years and joined First Baptist Church under the leadership of Rev. Willie D. Rawls.

Rosie Lee Garvin leaves to celebrate her homegoing three daughters: Mrs. Vernice Forrest Garvin (Johnny C), Mrs. Cervelma Prejean (Curley Joseph), Mrs. Julia Carter Cook (Eugene), two Sons: Mr. Joseph Carter (Nya) and Mr. Clifton Carter, and a beloved daughter in law Mrs. Barbara Fairley.

Rosie Lee Garvin was preceeded in death by her son, Mr. Mitchell Fairley Jr., six sisters: Mrs. Rose Ann, Mrs. Janie, Mrs. Maggie, Mrs. Viola, Mrs. Lillie C. and one brother Mr. Oscar and one grandson Mr. Reginald Forrest.

Rosie Lee Garvin leaves her dear friends, Mrs. Lillian Lee Rogers, Mrs. Dorothy Tops Gardener, Mrs. Eddie Bea Lee, a host of nephews,

nieces, grand, great-grand, and great-great-grandchildren.
