Schinke, Rosemary M. "Rosie"Rosemary M. Schinke (Reichwald) passed away peacefully at Appleton Medical Center on July 6, 2017. She was born on December 18, 1943 to the late Elmer and Cecelia (Wettstein) Reichwald in the Town of New Holstein, WI. Rosie married Ernest J. Schinke on October 9, 1965 at the church of St. Mary, Hilbert, WI.She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and great grandmother, who always had time to help others and share her generosity to those in need regardless of how busy she might be, and regardless of their relationship to her. She helped many family, friends, and strangers. Rosie was a very hard worker, who enjoyed gardening, canning, and adding to her always growing elephant collection. Rosie is survived by her loving husband Ernie; her daughter Michelle (Alan) Burton, Black Creek, and her son Michael (Theresa), Appleton; grandchildren: Jared, Jordan (Rachel), Lauren, Allison, and Emily as well as great grandchild Silas. She is also survived by many siblings including; Ronald Reichwald, Daniel (Rose) Reichwald, Alvin (Caroline) Reichwald, Richard (Suzanne) Reichwald, Charles (Ann) Reichwald, Dorothy (Randy) Bishop, Joan (Ronald) Krull, Vicki Hacker, Sherri (Brian) Annis, and Bruce Reichwald. She was preceded in death by her parents and three brothers; Gilbert Reichwald, Alan Reichwald, and William Reichwald.Visitation will be held Tuesday, July 11, 2017 at Valley Funeral Home in Appleton from 3 to 5 pm. Service will be officiated by Pastor Aaron Rosenau at 5 pm. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to "Harbor House Domestic Abuse Programs", or a memorial fund of your choice.A special thank you to the caring staff at Appleton Medical Center, as well as all the family and friends who have prayed for Rosie and her family.
