Rosemary KemperPEKIN - Rosemary A. Kemper, 80, of Pekin passed away Sunday, January 29, 2017, at Hallmark House in Pekin.She was born on November 8, 1936, in Canton to George P. and Ann F. Matkovich Stanfel. She married Kenneth A. Kemper on November 3, 1956, at St. Mary's Catholic Church in Canton. He survives.She is also survived by her son, David A. (Cynthia) Kemper; daughter, Denise A. (Joseph) Haley; three grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; and brother, George (Mary) Stanfel.She was preceded in death by her parents and one grandchild.Rosemary was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church in Pekin, where a funeral mass will be held Thursday, February 2, 2017, at 10 a.m. Father Michael Andrejek will officiate. Burial will follow at St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery in Pekin. Visitation will be held Wednesday, February 1, 2017, from 5 to 7 p.m. at Abts Mortuary in Pekin.Memorials may be made to St. Vincent DePaul Society in Pekin in her name.
