Rose who lived at the Boyle Center in Auburn, passed away at Auburn Hospital September 11, 2026 after a brief illness. She passed away with family by her side. 

Rose was born in Utica and grew up in Cato. She graduated from Cato Meridian High School. 

Rose worked with the elderly as a live-in caregiver until she retired to care for her husband. She later moved to Auburn, where she made many friends. She had a very kind heart and was loved by many.  

She loved going to church. She was a member of the Weedsport United Methodist Church until she moved to Auburn and became a member at the Auburn Church of Nazarene, 

She leaves behind her three children; Peggy Hargis and her fiancé, Randy Cole, Kimberly (Art) Sandford, and Kevin Clark; her grandchildren, Terry Clark, Stanley Clark, Abby Clark (Amber Lewis), Austin Sandford, Colton Sandford, Olivia Sandford, Charlene Canale, Clinton Cole, Felicia Doyle, and Charles Cole; and her sister, Carol Aldrich.

She was predeceased by her husband, Bill Clark; and her parents, Millard and Mildred Kellogg. 

A calling hour will be held from 12:00 to 1:00 pm with memorial service to immediately follow at 1:00 pm on Monday, September 21st at the Auburn Church of the Nazarene, 3360 East Genesee Street, Auburn.
