It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our beloved Rosaline Chase on July 24, 2023, in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. Rosaline was born on January 1, 1950, and leaves behind a legacy of love, warmth, and kindness.
Rosaline was a true Philadelphia native, born and raised in this vibrant city. She grew up in a close-knit community, where she developed a strong sense of family and community values. Throughout her life, Rosaline lived by the motto, "Love thy neighbor," becoming a pillar of support and a beacon of light for those around her.
Family was everything to Rosaline, and she found immense joy in being a loving daughter, sister, wife, mother, and grandmother. She was married to her high school sweetheart, James, for over 45 years, and their love was an inspiration to all who knew them. Together, they built a beautiful family filled with love and laughter.
Rosaline was a dedicated mother to her two children, Ashley and Bridgette. She embraced her role as a mother with unwavering devotion, always putting her children's needs before her own. She created a nurturing and loving home where her children felt safe, loved, and supported. Loving mom-mom too Steven and Vincent.
Rosaline was a woman of many talents and passions. She pursued a successful career as a teacher, educating generations of young minds. Her students fondly remember her patient and compassionate nature, always going the extra mile to help them achieve their dreams. Rosaline's kindness and passion for education made a lasting impact on the lives of countless individuals.
In her free time, Rosaline enjoyed gardening, taking long walks in the park, and exploring the vibrant arts and culture scene in Philadelphia. She had a deep appreciation for music, literature, and the beauty of nature. Rosaline found solace in these activities, often sharing her love for them with those around her.
Her warm smile, infectious laughter, and gentle spirit will be deeply missed by all who had the privilege of knowing Rosaline. She touched the lives of so many, leaving an indelible mark on our hearts. Rosaline's memory will forever be cherished by her family, friends, and the Philadelphia community.
In honor of Rosaline's life and legacy, a memorial service will be held on july 28, 2023, at St. Monica's Church in Philadelphia. In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests donations in Rosaline's name to be made to the local charity of your choice.
May her soul rest in eternal peace.
