Rosalinda Perez, 85, passed away peacefully on February 5, 2026, in Odessa, Texas, the city where she was born and spent her life surrounded by family and faith.
Born on October 24, 1940, in Odessa, Rosalinda lived a life rooted in love, tradition, and devotion. She was a woman of deep faith who found joy in the simple yet profound moments of life—attending church services, gathering with loved ones for Sunday dinners, and sharing laughter over a game of bingo. Her home was often filled with the comforting aroma of home-cooked meals and the sound of generations coming toa’s greatest joy came from her family. She is survived by her children: Joel Perez; Ruth Jackson and her husband Chris Jackson; and Dalila Villarreal and her husband Lazaro Villarreal. Her legacy continues through her seven grandchildren—Brittany Robinson, Kyree Jackson, Ariel Jackson, Lazaro Villarreal Jr, Adrianna Villarreal, and Anthony Villarreal—and her seven great-grandchildren. Each of them carries forward the love and traditions she so deeply cherished. Rosalinda will be remembered for the unwavering love she gave to those around her and the traditions she nurtured that continue to bring comfort to her family.
