NICOSIA-Rosalia (nee Munaco) of East Meadow, peacefully passed away on December 1, 2016 at the age of 101. Rose was born on August 15, 1915 in Cinisi, Italy and resided in Brooklyn and East Meadow. Beloved wife of the late Gaetano (Tommy). Loving mother of Anita (Sylvester) and Frances (Lesley). Devoted grandmother of 5 and cherished great-grandmother of 9. Visitation will be on Sunday, December 4th from 2pm - 8pm at Bellmore Funeral Home, 2340 Jerusalem Avenue, North Bellmore, New York. Mass of Christian Burial will be at Saint Bridget's Roman Catholic Church, Westbury, NY at 11am. In lieu of flowers, a donation to The JustinTime Foundation (1 Lafayette Drive, Cedar Grove, NJ 07009) or to Hospice Care, (99 Sunnyside Boulevard, Woodbury NY 11797), in the name of Rose Nicosia would be appreciated.
