Ronnie James Valentine, known to his loved ones as RJ, passed away on June 3, 2023 at the age of 50 in Danville, Virginia. RJ was born on November 21, 1972 in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania to his mother Carrie Jones, who preceded him in death and his father Joe Valentine.

RJ was a loving and caring person who had a great sense of humor. He was always making jokes and had a contagious smile that could light up any room. RJ loved spending time with his family and friends, and enjoyed going on road trips and fishing trips with them.

RJ graduated from Parkway West High School and went on to have a successful career at Goodyear. He was a hard worker and took pride in his work.

R] worshipped at Shady Grove Missionary Baptist Church.

A ceremony to celebrate RJ's life will be held in his hometown of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.

RJ is survived by his wife Tanya Walters Valentine, his daughters Sierra Valentine and Ta'Nya Walters, and many other family members and friends. He will be deeply missed by everyone.
