Ronald Lynn Rud

3/23/65- 8/24/21

Ronald Rud, 56, of Cypress, Texas, passed on August 24th, 2021.

Ronald “Ronnie” Rud was born in Chippewa Falls, Wisconsin on March 23rd1965, to Earl and Arlene Rud.

Ronnie is survived by his wife of 34 years Flora “Bit” Rud, son Michael Rud, sister Cynthia "Cici" Markoski, brothers Duane Rud, Kenneth Rud, Timothy Rud, and Earl Rud Jr. as well as many cousins, nieces, and nephews.

He is preceded in death by his parents Earl Rud and Arlene Rud.

Ronnie was a devoted husband, father, and friend to many. He loved to be on his boat fishing at the lake with his family. That was definitely his happy place where he found solace. He was also an avid hunter; many days were spent leaving the house in the wee hours of the night to get to the deer lease before dawn. Anyone who knew Ronnie also knew his love for Star Trek and all his collectibles. His evenings at home were spent watching "Friends" or Gordon Ramsay tv shows with Bit and all of their dogs in their laps. He began working at Action Transmission at the age of 12. Within a few years he became the backbone of the shop and never left. Many of his friendships began from Action Transmission and led to so many people becoming part of the extended family. He lived a very full life and created a lot of memories in his 56 years on this earth.

There will be a celebration of life on
September 11th, 2021, at 2:00 p.m.
