Ronald KriegerCarrollRonald Krieger, 80, died Wednesday, July 19, 2017. Ronald D. Krieger was born on August 31, 1936 at home in Rippey, Iowa to Harold and Alpha (Smithson) Krieger. He graduated from Perry High School in 1954 and was a zone manager at the Des Moines Register until his retirement in 1989. Ron enjoyed college football, fishing, and spending time with his friends and family. Ronald is survived by his children Marvin (Pat) Krieger of Coon Rapids, Mariane Murray of Carroll and Sherry Christensen of Earling, 6 granddaughters, 3 great-grandchild and brother Gary (Carolyn) Krieger of WI. He was preceded in death by his parents and brothers Burton, Howard and Marvin Krieger, sister Zelpha Anders and son-in-law Terry Murray.
