Johnson, Ronald G.Ronald G. Johnson, age 80 passed away on October 10, 2015, surrounded by family and friends in New Port Richey, Florida, after a courageous battle against cancer. Ronald was born on September 2, 1935, in Two Rivers, Wisconsin, son of the late Clifford Johnson and Julia Johnson (Doleysh). He graduated from Washington High School in 1954 and worked at Hamilton Industries and retired from the City of Two Rivers Water Department. Ronald married Barbara Neumann on August 3, 1957, at St. Mark's Catholic Church. Ronald was a former member of St. Mark's Catholic Church and St. Peter the Fisherman. He was a loving father to his two daughters, Jodi Johnson and Jennifer (Johnson) Fritz. Ronald was an accomplished carpenter and was always building or designing. He loved fishing and playing accordion. He also enjoyed spending time with his granddaughter Lillian.Ronald is survived by Barbara, his beloved wife of 58 years; his daughter, Jodi Johnson of Pompano Beach, Florida; his daughter and son-in-law, Jennifer (Johnson) Fritz and Rob Fritz and their daughter, Lillian Fritz of Mohawk, MI; his brother and sister-in-law, Wayne and Nancy Johnson; his sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law, Richard and Elizabeth Kvitek, Michael and Joleen Laurin, Kathleen Neumann and Joan Neumann; his aunt and uncle, Bevery and Frank Hlinak and his aunts, Mildred Doleysh and Eunice Doleysh. Many nieces, nephews and cousins also survive. Ronald is preceded in death by his brother-in-law, John Neumann.Family and friends may join in a celebration of Ron's life at St. Peter the Apostle, New Port Richey on Friday, October 23, at 10:30 a.m. The family wishes to extend a special thank you to the staff at Moffitt Cancer Center and Gulfside Hospice for their care and compassion and all of the family and friends that visited Ronald during his illness. Memorial donations may be made to Roncalli High School, Manitowoc, WI or Gulfside Hospice, New Port Richey, FL or a .
