Ronald Duane OtaCamarillo, CARonald Duane Ota, 68, of Camarillo, passed away on Wednesday, December 9, 2015. He was born on December 19, 1946 in Selma, California.He is survived by his loving wife, Cindy; his children: Tamaye, Ron ( wife Amy) , Johnnie, Kiyomi, Chris and Andy (wife Kim); his grandchildren: Carson, Michael and Anthony; his mother, Nancy and his sister, Kiyomi (husband Ed). Ron served three tours of duty as a Marine in Vietnam. He owned and operated the Flower Power floral store in Camarillo since the early 1980's. For many years he taught floral design at Ventura College and Regional Occupational Program. He frequently served as a judge at local and national floral design competitions. Memorial services will be held on Monday, December 14, 2015 at 11:00 AM. Please contact family members for details.
