GILBERT, Ronald A. "Spanky" Age 62 of Dayton, passed away peacefully on Friday, December 2, 2016 at his home. He was born on May 29, 1954 in Cincinnati, OH to the late Buster and Wilma (Cowans) Gilbert. Ron served his country in the United States Navy and worked as a salesperson for Sleep Outfitters and Rex TV. Ron is survived by his loving wife of 42 years, Vicki; daughter, Tosha (James) Seaton; grandchildren who were the light of his life, Anthony and Jenna Seaton; sisters, Diane (Ralph) Taylor, Debbie (Sean) Toerner, Lori (Jack) Rahn; brother, Mark (Tia) Gilbert; mother-in-law, Delores Teeken; sisters-in-law, Diane, Cindy, Lisa, Teresa, Tonia; brother-in-law, Ray; numerous nieces and nephews; and many, many friends.
