Depies, Ronald "Ron" A.Ronald "Ron" A. Depies, age 74, passed away on Thursday, October 5, 2017. He was born on April 5, 1943 to Edwin and La Verne (nee Van Treeck). He was on the first wrestling team for Port Washington High School and was on the football team when they went undefeated in 1960. He was on the Whitewater University Football Team in 1962 and they were Conference Champions that year. He served in the US Army Reserves and on the Batavia Fire Department and First Responders. He married Beverly (nee Boehlke) on September 1, 1968. He was a loving caretaker to his wife. In addition to farming, Ron was a mason and part of the Brick Layers Local #8 Milwaukee Chapter. He is survived by his wife, Beverly; children, Gregory (Denise), Gary (Julie), Garret and Geoffrey; grandchildren, Jessica, Cody, Tanner, Sydney, Ryder, Katelyn, Austin, Kyra, Abby, Wyatt and Owen; siblings, Mary (Roger) Neumann, Richard (Karen) Depies, William (Mary Ann) Depies, Gerald (Janice) Depies, Edwin Depies, Carol (Ken) Buser, Anthony (Patti) Depies, and Chris (Kim) Depies; siblings-in-law, Judith (E.Miche) Priaulx, Robert (Dawn) Boehlke, Roger (Carol) Boehlke, Linda (Rolf) Sommer, Royal (Linda) Boehlke and Cynthia (Jay) Johnson. He is further survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Ron is preceded in death by his parents.The Funeral Service will be held on Tuesday, October 10, 2017 at 11:00 AM at St. John's Lutheran Church Sherman Center (W5406 County Road SS, Random Lake, WI 53075) with Rev. Randal Schoemann presiding. Interment will follow at St. John's Cemetery. The Visitation will be at the church on Monday, October 9th from 4:00 PM until 7:00 PM.
