It is with heavy hearts that the Getzie family announces the passing of Ronald Getzie, Ronald was born on May 25, 1935, in Chippewa Falls, Wisconsin, to William and Luella Getzie.

Ronald is survived by a three of four children, Dennis Getzie (spouse Sharon Getzie), Mike Getzie (spouse Keri Devine), and Cindy Fuhrmann (spouse Bob Fuhrmann). Preceded in death by Wife Glenda, son Terry and grandsons Jesse and Jason Getzie.

Ronald graduated from Chi-High, and then joined the Navy and was deployed to Korea.

After marriage, they moved to River Falls and went on to work at Delavel, and Niro Atomizer. He was a dedicated employee and served his country with honor.

In his free time, Ronald enjoyed camping, fishing, hunting, and wood working. He had a passion for the outdoors and spent many happy hours pursuing his hobbies.

Ronald passed away on August 14, 2024, after a courageous battle with COPD. He will be deeply missed by his family and all who knew him. May he rest in peace.
