April 26, 1929 - July 6, 2017SFC Rollin R. Recroft, U.S. Army Retired, passed away on Thursday, July 6, 2017 in Houston, Texas. He was born on April 26, 1929 to parents, Madeline Kister and Ralph Recroft in Lincoln, Nebraska. Rollin joined the U.S. Army and proudly served as a devoted soldier until his retirement. Proud of his Irish and Scottish ancestry, Rollin enjoyed traveling, whether abroad in Europe or stateside in his RV. Rollin enjoyed playing golf and bowling. He was preceded in death by his first wife, Nell Jones Recroft; his parents; his sister, Donna Zimmerman and his beloved dog, PR. Rollin is survived by his wife, Josie Trevino; step family: Marcella Richardson (Phil) and daughters, Alison and Claire; Jeffrey Borrego (Maribel) and daughter, Raquel; Kim Flueeler (Marcel) and children, Leon and Emily; nephews: Mike (Joyce) Zimmerman; Tom Zimmerman; niece Patti Lounsberry (Emory) and families; cousin Burdette Kister (Sonja) and many dear friends including Lucian and Susan Williams.GRAVESIDE SERVICETUESDAY, JULY 18, 20172:30 P.M.FT.
