Roger Smith , 73, of Jasper, Texas, passed on October 22, 2020. Roger was born on November 16, 1946.

Roger Smith 73, departed from this life October 22, 2020. Rodger dedicated his life to bettering the young men and women of Jasper, Texas. He touched so many lives as the Jasper High School principal. 

His family knew him as the warmest and most compassionate brother, father, and grandfather. They will miss his laugh and his signature dumplings that were always a little too hard. 

Leaving behind his beloved wife Doris, Daughter Rebecca, and granddaughter Kaitlynne. 

Rodger will he laid to rest Sunday at 12pm at Jasper City Cemetary in Jasper, TX where he was born and raised.
