Roena Ferguson, better know as Rena, was born on June 28, 1957 in Rockford, Illinois to her loving parents Damon and Mary Lee Ferguson.

Rena passed away on May 19, 2024, leaving behind a legacy of humor and love. She is survived by her three children, Latoya, Lutece, and Lanetta “Shada” Ferguson; Siblings Linda and Paulette, and preceded in death by siblings Sylvester and Rosemary. Rena has three beautiful grand children, Jayden, Akari, and Jaxon.

Rena was always out spoken and had a contagious laugh that could light up any room. She had a talent for making all things beautiful.

Although Roena may no longer be with us, her spirit lives on in the hearts of all who were lucky enough to know her. Rest in peace, dear Rena, and may your eternal laughter bring joy to the heavens above.
