We are deeply saddened to announce the passing of Rodney Davenport, who was born on January 3, 1958, and passed away on August 11, 2024, in Benson, North Carolina, United States.
Rodney was the beloved son of Carl and Joyce Davenport and the devoted husband of Charlotte Davenport, whom he married in 1996. He is survived by his two children, Tacawana Davenport and Brandie Hooker. He also leaves behind two cherished grandchildren.
Rodney attended Northern High School and later went on to work at the NC Department of Public Safety. In his free time, he enjoyed playing pool and watching football.
On August 11, 2024, Rodney lost his battle with ALS. He will be deeply missed by his family, friends, and all who knew him.
