Rodney Vanvleet, father, and grandfather, passed away on February 10, 2026, in Battle Creek, Michigan at the age of 61.

Born on September 15, 1964, Rodney was the son of Raymond and Althea Irene Vanvleet. He was a devoted husband to his wife and a loving father to his four children: Ashley, Danyell (spouse Kody), Amanda, and Dawston.

Rodney had a joyful spirit and was known for his love of spending time with his kids and grandkids. He had a passion for life and cherished every moment he shared with his family. He has eight grandkids, Thomas,Dezarae,Ashlin,Alonna,Aalayah,Brayden,Destiny,Alayna.

He went to Battle Creek Public High School and went on to create a beautiful life filled with love and laughter. Rodney will be deeply missed by all who knew him.

Although Rodney is no longer with us, his memory will live on in the hearts of his family and friends.
