It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Rodney Preyer, who left this world too soon on July 11, 2024 in Carson, California. He was born on July 18, 1963 to his loving parents George and Barbara Preyer.

Rodney was a proud graduate of Carson High School, class of 1981. He continued his studies at Compton College and Cal State Dominguez Hills, excelling in his academics.

Rodney dedicated many years of his life working at Los Angeles County Parks and Recreation, where he brought joy and laughter to all those he encountered. His passion for weight lifting was unmatched, and he could often be found pumping iron at the gym.

Despite not having children of his own, Rodney was a beloved uncle and friend to many. He had a quick wit and infectious laugh that could brighten anyone's day.

As we say goodbye to Rodney, let us remember the joy and laughter he brought into our lives. Rest in peace, dear friend.
