Rodney "Rod" Alan Wallace, 53, passed away after a short illness on Saturday, October 28, 2023. The son of Karen Ann Wallace nee Toncheff, he was born on May 21, 1970 in Mt. Gilead, OH. 

Rod was diagnosed very young with Advanced Spinal Muscular Atrophy Stage II. He was infinitely loved, a great human being who deeply loved his friends, an avid learner, car racing expert, a tremendous collector and lover of music, politically minded and a great communicator.  

In addition to his mother, Karen; he is survived by his step-mother, Anne Combs, of Milford, OH; his beloved sister, Janice Arlene Wallace, of Tucson, AZ; a very special daughter of his heart, Amber Baker, of Cincinnati, OH; his long-time caregiver and wonderful friend, Justina Strickland; as well as Justina’s granddaughter, Audrey Grey who was greatly cherished by Rod.

Instead of funeral services, please join us to hoist a beer to Rod at an informal celebration of his life and adventures to be held on Saturday, November 11, 2023 at Greenies Restaurant and Bar, 1148 OH-28 Milford, OH from 1pm-3pm.
