Robin Thornton-Ledsome, a beloved resident of Columbus, Ohio, peacefully left this world on December 22, 2023. Born on November 13, 1950, Robin's life was filled with unwavering kindness and a passion for philanthropy. As an influential advocate for social justice, Robin dedicated countless hours to various charitable causes, striving to create a more compassionate society. She will be remembered for her unwavering optimism, infectious laughter, and ability to radiate warmth to all who knew her. Robin's legacy of kindness and their indomitable spirit will forever live on in the hearts of many. Robin loved the lord with all her heart and wanted everyone to know the lord as their personal savior, just as she had. She was loved be everyone around her, and was known for her great homemade dishes she’d bring weekly at church or family gatherings.

Robin also graduated with honors from Columbus East High School in 1968. She later attended Columbus Technical Institute. She later pursued her dreams of a family, when she met her late husband Dale at college.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Dale, her brothers Dan and Dave, and her sister Clara.

Leaving to grieve her are her two sons: Jesse(Candis)Thornton of Zanesville, Ohio, Chris Thornton of Newark, Ohio. Daughter: Anna(William) Sarmiento-Thornton of Zanesville, Ohio. Grandchildren: Hillary(Sean)Thornton of Columbus, Ohio, Jacob Thornton of Dallas, Texas, Nathanial Rothacher of Canton, Ohio, Ethan(Mara)Rothacher of Dresden, Ohio, Kaylie Sarmiento of Zanesville, Ohio, Athena Thornton of Nashport, Ohio. Along with 6 great grandchildren.
