Roberta L. Mason1967 - 2014Roberta L. Mason, 46, of Kenosha, passed away peacefully, surrounded by her loving family, Tuesday, Sept. 23, 2014, at her residence.She was born on Oct. 18, 1967, to the late Robert Lee and Lois (White) Mack in Little Rock, Ark. She was educated in the schools of Little Rock.Roberta married Robert R. Mason. He preceded her in death on July 19, 2006.Roberta worked at Monarch Plastics for many years.Roberta was a member of Solid Rock Missionary Baptist Church and was very active.Roberta enjoyed crafting, cooking and decorating. Most of all, her family was the most important thing in her life. She was a kind-hearted woman with a generous heart.Roberta is survived by her children Laqueeda Mason of Racine, Nyeisha (Josh) Barker of Kenosha, Jhron Leavelle of Waukegan and David Mason of New Haven, Conn.; her siblings, Khadija Rashada, Sandra Jones and Robert Mack Jr., all of Kenosha, and her nine grandchildren.She is preceded in death by her brother Claude Turner Jr.Funeral Services for Roberta will be held on Friday, Oct. 3, at 11 a.m. at the Solid Rock Missionary Baptist Church (1411 – 25th Ave.). Visitation will be held on Friday morning from 9 a.m. until the time of service at the church. Interment will follow at Southern Wisconsin Veterans Memorial Cemetery.
