Roberta LaunderAurora: Roberta Launder, 92, of Aurora, Ohio, formerly of Zanesville, passed away peacefully on July 25, 2017. She was born on August 18, 1924 in Zanesville, a daughter of the late Robert and Alaine Guss. She is survived by one son Jerry (Sarah) Launder. One daughter Pam (Marc) Vosen. One granddaughter Leslie (Greg) Blot. One great-grandson Kyle Blot. One sister Irene Morrison. One brother Donald (Carolyn) Guss. Sisters-in-law Edith Launder, Mary Ford, Fritzi Guss, and Cecilia Guss. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of 58 years, Dale Edwin Launder. One son Duane Launder. One sister Pauline Fowler. Two brothers Robert Guss and Forest Guss. Three brothers-in-law William Fowler, LeRoy Morrison and Rolland Ford. We feel blessed that she and her new great-grandson were able to meet for the first time earlier this month. He brought her tremendous joy these past three weeks. A special thanks to the staff of Anna Maria Assisted Living in Aurora, Ohio, and to Sue Landerman of Fultonham who has been a tremendous help to us. In lieu of flowers a donation to The Salvation Army would be greatly appreciated.Funeral services will be held Friday July 28, 2017 at 12:00 p.m. with visitation from 11:00 a.m. until 12:00 p.m. at William Thompson & Son Funeral Home 5765 Gladstone Drive White Cottage. Rev. Joy French officiating. Burial will be in Fultonham Cemetery.
