March 17, 1931 - November 9, 2016Robert Y. Pecina, was born on March 17, 1931 in San Antonio, TX. He went home to be with the Lord on November 9, 2016. He is preceded in death by his parents, Marcial Pecina and Enedina Ybarra; mother of his daughter Nancy, Rita V. Pecina; and siblings, Gertrude Pecina, Viola San Martin, Gloria Alfaro and Raul Pecina. Robert is survived by his wife, Maria S. Pecina; children, Virginia Pecina, Gina Hilda Morris (Patrick), Betty Bonnet (David), Norma Jean Pecina, Sylvia Pecina, Robert David Pecina (Ruth) and Nancy Almanza (Luis); siblings, Anita Rodriguez (Bonifacio), Richard Pecina (Wally), Rudy Pecina (Rebecca), Ruben Pecina (Maria) and Roger Pecina (Diana); numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews. He will be missed by all who knew and loved him.Visitation will be Tuesday, November 15, 2016 from 6:00 to 9:00 p.m. at Mission Park Funeral Chapels South, with a Rosary to be recited at 7:00 p.m. Funeral service will be Wednesday, November 16, at 10:00 a.m. at Mission Park South. Interment to follow at Mission Burial Park South.
