Robert WalkerDes MoinesRobert Eugene Walker passed away on Sunday, June 25, 2017 at the Indianola Good Samaritan Center. Funeral services for Robert will take place at 12:30 pm, Wednesday, June 28, 2017 at Peterson Funeral Home in Indianola. A visitation will begin at 11:00 am prior to services on Wednesday at the funeral home. Interment with military honors will follow at 2:00 pm in the Iowa Veteran Cemetery. Robert was born on July 9, 1942 in Warren County, Iowa to Charlie and Rosemary Walker. Robert served his country in the United States Army. After his discharge Robert worked for Eagle Iron in Des Moines. Robert enjoyed fishing, stock car racing and his Dachshunds. Robert is survived by his siblings, Flo Walker, Walter(Linda)Walker, Jean Pearson, Betty McVay Roberts, Becky Dillinger, Billy Allen, Jerry(Debbie)Allen, Larry Allen, Marquita Warner and Linda Morton.
