Treml, Robert "Bob"Robert "Bob" C. Treml, 82, a resident of Denmark, passed away on Sunday, February 12, 2017, at Bornemanns. He was born on November 15, 1934, in Glenmore, to the late Robert and Mayme (Opichka) Treml. He graduated from Catholic Central High in 1952. On April 16, 1955, he married Joyce VanPay at St. Philip the Apostle Catholic Church in Green Bay. She preceded him in death on February 23, 1998. He married Mary Ann (Burg) Gretzinger on August 18, 2000, at Holy Trinity Catholic Church in Pine Grove.Bob was employed at Morley-Murphy for many years before taking over the family farm in Glenmore. He later started his own business, Way-Morr Cheese, where he cut, packaged, and delivered cheese. After retirement he liked to make wood projects in his woodshop. He was a member of the Glenmore town board and an active member at Prince of Peace Church, where he taught Religious Education for many years.Bob played fast pitch softball and he bowled in local leagues. He was a Packer season ticket holder all his life and enjoyed watching the Packers and Brewers. He enjoyed family get togethers with his children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren.Survivors include his wife, Mary Ann; six sons and daughters-in-law: Randy (Sue), De Pere; Eric (Sharon), Denmark; Ron (Happy), Franklin; Jeff (Mary), Iron Mountain, MI; Chris (Kris), Dale; David (Kathy), Osseo; five daughters and four sons-in-law: Debbie (Steve) VandenBush, Denmark; Lisa Phillips, Denmark; Diane (Larry) Ross, Iron Mountain, MI; Denise (Steven) Laabs, Reedsville and Cindy (Kevin) Kapla, Cooperstown; 29 grandchildren; 22 great-grandchildren; one sister and brother-in-law, Jerome (Dorthy) Gerczak, Bay Settlement; one brother-in-law and two sisters-in-law, Thomas (Mary Jo) Van Pay, Ashwaubenon, and Mary (Robin) Van Pay; many nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends. Bob is further survived by six step-sons and five step-daughters-in-law: Christopher (Gretzinger), Florida; Gregory (Cathy), Suamico; Michael (Julie), Green Bay; Stephen (Jackie) Menominee, MI; Gary (Sara), Hattiesburg, MS, and Kevin (Deborah), Green Bay; two step-daughters and 2 step-sons-in-law, Therese (Kevin) Heraly, Tisch Mills, Maria (Jim) Biesterveld, Appleton; 24 step-grandchildren; and 13 step-great-grandchildren.He was preceded in death by his first wife, Joyce; one granddaughter, Rebecca Treml; one brother-in-law, Darrel Van Pay; and other aunts, uncles, and cousins.Friends may call at the Proko-Wall Funeral Home, 1630 E. Mason St. from 4:00-8:00 pm Thursday. Parish wake service 8:00 pm Thursday. Visitation will continue on Friday after 9:00 am at Prince of Peace Catholic Church, 3425 Willow Rd. until time of Mass. Funeral Mass 11:00 am Friday at the church with Rev. Ron Belitz officiating. Burial in the Holy Trinity Cemetery, Pine Grove. In Lieu of floral expressions a memorial fund has been established in Bob's name. Bob's family would like to extend their sincere gratitude to the nurses and staff at Bornemann's for all the care and consideration given to Bob and his family.
