Robert K. Schenning 1940 - 2015 Robert K. Schenning, 74, of Delavan, Wis., and formerly of Silver Lake, Wis., died Friday morning Nov. 6, 2015, at the Rainbow Hospice Care in Johnson Creek, Wis. Robert Kenneth Schenning was born on Dec. 5, 1940, in Kenosha, Wis., the son of the late Fred and Elsie Schwartz Schenning. On Oct. 9, 1971, in Peace Ev. Lutheran Church in Wilmot, Wis., Robert was united in marriage to Kathleen Ruth Dorey. Kathleen preceded him in death on Feb. 22, 2005. He lived in Salem and Silver Lake before moving to Elkhorn and then to Delavan five years ago. Robert worked as an assembler for the Chrysler Corp. in Kenosha for 29 years, where he was a member of the UAW Local #72. Robert was a proud firefighter for the Silver Lake Fire Dept. for 30 years. He was a member of Peace Ev. Lutheran Church in Wilmot, Wis. He enjoyed hunting and fishing. Robert is survived by one daughter, Jennifer (John) Wolfgram of Genoa City, Wis.; one son, Jeff (Maureen Mauser) of Kenosha, Wis.; two grandchildren, Joshua and Emilyane; two sisters-Shirley (Rodney) Moster of Silver Lake, Wis., and Dolores Klen of Burlington, Wis.; three brothers, Gordon Schenning of Burlington, Wis., Ronald (Bonnie) Schenning of Burlington, Wis., and Dennis Schenning of Viola, Wis. He was preceded in death by his parents and two brothers, Jerry and David Schenning. Funeral services will be held at 7 p.m. Monday, Nov. 9, 2015, at the Haase-Lockwood & Assoc. Funeral Home and Crematory in Twin Lakes, WI. with Pastor James S. Fischer of Peace Ev. Lutheran Church officiating.
