Robert Odom, beloved husband, father, and grandfather, passed away on May 18, 2024, in Richmond City, Virginia. He was born on July 1, 1936, to Earl James Odom and Lucille Jane Smith Odom.

Robert was a devoted husband to his wife, Alice Mae Lacey Odom, whom he married in 1960. Together they raised five children: Kay Odom Evans, Kim Odom Thomas, Rob Odom, Micheal Odom, and Jason Odom.

Robert is proceeded in death by his parents, Earl, James Odom and Lucille Jane Smith Odom, his wife, Alice Mae Lacey Odom, and his daughter Kim Odom Thomas.

Robert was a hardworking employee at Ford Motor Company, where he dedicated many years before retiring in 2008. He also proudly served in the US Navy.

Outside of work, Robert enjoyed spending time in his garden, cutting grass, and searching for hidden treasures at thrift stores. His love for gardening was only matched by his love for his family.

Robert leaves behind a legacy of love and laughter that will be cherished by his 13 grandchildren and 9 great grandchildren. He will be remembered for his warm smile, kind heart, and unwavering dedication to his family.

Rest in peace, Robert Odom. You will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved you.
