Norman Glass, 63, of Bronx, New York, passed on August 15, 2023. Norman was born on January 15,1960. Norman was born to the late Mr. & Mrs. Paul and Elaine (Wyatt) Glass. He received his education in New York city schools, graduating from Jane Adams High School in 1977. That fall, he attended Bronx Community College. He was employed at Union Pacific for 26 years before retiring in 1998. In October of 1982, Norman married Linda Ragland. To this union, 4 children were born. Norman loved bowling, playing cards, fishing, cooking, being a DJ at his parties where he would rap and sing for everyone around. he had a deep passion for soul music. However, most of all Norman loved spending time with his family & friends. After retirement, he regularly, visited relatives and friends bring delicious home cooked meals and drinks. he loved telling jokes and performing magic tricks for the kids. Norman was preceded in death by his wife, Linda Glass; sister, Mary Glass; brothers, Prince, Matthew and Desmond Glass; grandson, Desmond Glass Jr; granddaughter, Brittany Singleton. Norman leaves to cherish his memory: his sons Matthew & Clarence Mccorkle; daughters, Tnesha Glass & Latoya Flowers; sisters, Camille, Ruthie, Cookie & Sheryl Glass; brothers, David, Michael, Ralph and Justice McCorkle; 15 grandchildren, 4 great grandchildren and a host of relatives and friends.
