Robert Lee Rucker Sr., 72, of Torrance, California, passed on March 03, 2021. Robert was born on December 08, 1948 to the union of Samuel Rucker and Luessie Rucker in Kansas City, Missouri. He spent the last twenty five years as a truck driver. He was a kind and generous man with a big loving heart. He would give his last to anyone in need. He loved to tell jokes and make people laugh. He would go to his sister, Stella's house on Sundays just to harrass her and to watch football. He will be greatly missed by those that knew him. Robert's father and mother Samuel Rucker and Luessie Rucker, grandson, Robert Rucker III, brother, Cornell Rucker, and a niece, Sherice Lewis, all preceded him in death. He leaves to cherish his memories, four sons, Robert L. Rucker Jr. (Ashia), Spokane, WA, Samuel T. Rucker (Trenina), Powder Springs, GA, Pastor Larry S. Rucker (Kimberly), Grimes, IA, Robert Shelton (LaShan Perkins), Kansas City, MO, and one daughter, Mico Fitzhugh (Daniel), Kansas City, MO. He also leaves 30 grandchildren and 25 great grandchildren, his only sister, Stella Black, and a nephew, Cornell Black, both of Hawthorne, CA and a host of family and friends.
