Robert Lee Taylor Jr. was born in Lumberton NC, on September 26,1983  to Jacqueline Leak and the late Robert Lee Taylor. Robert was better known as "Poppie or Black' but carried other names by his friends and family. Throughout his life he was a jack of all trades with painting cars being his speciality. He was known for his skills , his heart of gold, and his willingness to help others whenever he could.

  Robert leaves to cherish his memories to his son Malachi Taylor, mother Jacqueline Leak his bonus father Leroy McLean Jr. He also leaves behind three sisters Andrea Leak (Chell), Shanocko Taylor (Nene) and Shamettia Leak (Mettia) and one brother Aaron Clark.

  He is survived by his aunts Gwen Taylor, Edith Taylor, and Catherine Torrey his uncles Calvin Jones, James Taylor, and Thomas Jones. Robert also leaves behind a host of nieces and nephews and one being very close to him, Ja'Tayvious Ray. He is further survived by special cousins Micheal Taylor, Fredrick Taylor, Micheal Jones, James Taylor, Ron Taylor, Christopher Torrey and James Leak. With special friends James Lee, Micheal Bullard, and Juicy.

  Robert loved his family deeply, he was a loving father, friend, brother, nephew, grandson but most of all a son. He had a big heart and would give his last to anyone in need.
