Robert L. FisherROSEVILLE: Robert Lee Fisher, 90, of Roseville, Ohio passed away at 9:15 AM Monday, September 15, 2014 at Cedar Hill Care Center in Zanesville following an extended illness. Robert was born on May 15, 1924 in Muskingum County, the son of the late Harland and Goldie Fye Fisher. He was a member of the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses in Crooksville. He retired from Nelson McCoy Pottery in Roseville. Robert was a farmer and loved to mow grass on his John Deere mower. Robert is survived by his wife of twenty-three years, Alice Faye Cavinee Blagg Fisher of the home; his sister-in-law, Linda (Tom) Sawyers of Roseville; his brother-in-law, John (Judy) Cavinee of Roseville; and several nieces and nephews.In addition to his parents, Robert is preceded in death by his first wife, Jean Chaffin Fisher who passed away August 11, 1987; his sister, Ruth Parsons and his brothers, Ray, Stanley, Paul and Walter Fisher. Friends and family will be received 2:00 PM-4:00 PM & 6:00 PM-8:00 PM, Wednesday, September 17, 2014 at the GOEBEL FUNERAL HOME, 36 N. BUCKEYE ST., CROOKSVILLE. Funeral services and a celebration of Robert's life will be 11:00 AM, Thursday, September 18 at the funeral home with Adrian Brown officiating. Burial will follow in Crooksville Cemetery.
