Robert Jackson Alexander, Jr.Robert Jackson Alexander, Jr., 58, of Lincolnton, NC, passed away on Sunday, April 30, 2017.He was born on July 18, 1958 in Tallahassee, FL, to Sara Elizabeth Howard McDonald and the late Robert Jackson Alexander. Mr. Alexander loved driving a "big truck", as he drove a truck for Gerdau Ameristeel. He enjoyed camping, NASCAR, Florida State football, and loved his family dearly.He was preceded in death by his father, Robert Jackson Alexander; and sister, Barbara Alexander. In addition to his mother, he is survived by his brother, John Alexander and wife, Cathy of Mooresville, NC; sisters, Shirley Mahler and husband, Carl, Nina Alexander both of Tallahassee, FL, Mary Jo Gamble of Cumming, GA; nieces and nephews, Nick and Grace Alexander, Jackson Shuford, Alex Wagner, Jessica Stafford, Christina Gamble, Suzanna Gamble; and great nieces and nephews, Sara and Tia Barber, Lainey Mullins, and Tyler Frady.A Memorial service will be held at 11:30 AM on Saturday, June 10 at Woodrun Baptist Church, 8203 Apalachee Parkway, Tallahassee, FL 32311.
