Robert J Thomas, 79, passed on March 20, 2023. He was born to Carlton Thomas and Helen Thomas in North Charleston, South Carolina on October 13, 1943.
He married Louise in 1980 and they lived together in Augusta, Georgia. Together they raised 3 children Roberta (Benjamin), Jeanette (Vernon), Henry (Michelle). He is also survived by 10 grandchildren.
Robert graduated from North Charleston High in 1962 and received a degree from the South Carolina State in 1972.
Robert worked at North Charleston High as a Teacher until he retired in 2009 and was passionate about affecting the most positive change in people. In 1975, Robert was honored with the Star Teacher Award .
