Hylton Robert J. "Bobby" Hylton, 35, of Mechanicsburg, passed away on Monday, December 5, 2016. He was born on April 11, 1981, in Orlando, FL. He graduated from Hilliard Darby High School, Class of 1999. Bobby served our country in the United States Navy stationed on the USS John C. Stennis CVN74. He is survived by his mother, Sue Griffith; daughter, Zoey Hylton; sisters, Abigail Geiger and Amy Rivera; brothers, Richard Griffith Jr., and Kevin Griffith; aunt, Patricia Zell; uncles, Tim Hylton and Bob Hylton; special nephew, Abram Geiger; and several other nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his step father Richard Griffith Sr., grandparents William and Ilene Hylton, and uncle David Hylton. A gathering of family and friends will be held on Friday, December 9, 2016, from 5-7 p.m. in the LITTLETON & RUE FUNERAL HOME, Springfield, OH. A celebration of his life and military service will be held on Saturday at 1 p.m. with Pastor Will Zell officiating. Private burial will be in the Dayton National Cemetery.
