Robert Hopkins was born in Red Oak, Iowa in 1934. He served in the Navy from 1952-1960. Robert married Ruth Hopkins in 1963, where they met while studying at St. Paul Bible College in St.Paul, Minnesota.

Robert is survived by his wife, Ruth; his three children, Philip, Michael and Karin; and his six grandchildren.
