Paulin, Robert "Bob" Edwin, Sr.,87, passed away Monday, May 8, 2017.He was born on April 13, 1930 in Louisville to the late Edward and Gilmer Paulin. Bob was also preceded in death by three brothers, Raymond, Norbert and Eugene, and two sisters, Mary and Laverne.Bob was a retired homebuilder and a Korean War veteran, serving in the Navy aboard the USS Valley Forge CVA-45 from 1951-54.He is survived by his loving wife of 62 years, Bettye Ash Paulin; two sisters, Doris Borho and Janet Wright; children, Teresa Richardson, Julie Botner, Robert Paulin, Jr. (Becky) and Angela Greenwell (Marty); grandchildren, Tony, Kyle, Aaron, Jared, Jessica, Lily, Kayla, Vanya, Misha and Allie and two great-grandchildren.A funeral Mass will be held at 10 a.m. Friday, May 12th at St. Bartholomew Catholic Church, 2042 Buechel Bank Road, with burial at St. Michael Cemetery. Visitation will be from 2-8 p.m. Thursday at Ratterman and Sons, 3800 Bardstown Road.
