Robert passed away peacefully at his home on March 11th.

Robert was born on March 3rd, 1964 in Willard, Ohio. His family moved to Fremont, Ohio where he later graduated from Fremont Ross High School in 1980. He joined the Ohio National Guard where he did many active deployments to Afghanistan, Central America, and Jamaica. Robert was a decorated soldier and was able to make the rank of Master Sergeant in 2004.

He retired from the military after 28 years in 2009 and later got a job working for the state of Ohio until 2018. Robert was a car enthusiast, he enjoyed fishing and traveling but most of all he enjoyed being a husband, father, and grandfather.

Robert is proceeded in death by his (father) Richard Channing, (brother) Rick Bliss, and (sister) Robin Bliss. He is survived by his (wife) Julie Bliss, (children) Kyle, and Kaylie, (grandchildren) Brady, and Lane Bliss.

A celebration of life will be held for close family and friends at Grace Community Church in Fremont, Ohio on Saturday, March 23rd from 10 a.m.- 1 p.m.
