Robert Earl Watkins, 69, passed away Saturday, Dec. 10, 2016. Funeral: 3:30 p.m. Wednesday in Mount Olivet Chapel. Interment: Mount Olivet Cemetery. Visitation: 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at Mount Olivet. Robert was born on Jan. 8, 1947, in Fort Worth to William Earl Jr. and Marion Watkins. He graduated from Polytechnic High School in 1965. Robert worked at Bell Helicopter at Textron for 41 years. He loved fishing, water skiing and bowling. Survivors: Wife, Karen Watkins; daughters, Debbie White and Kathy Watkins; son, Bobby Watkins; four grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; and brother, Bill Watkins.
